I can't see this group of players winning three or four in a row under a new manager to pull us clear of trouble.
We are In trouble, of course someone could rescue us , perhaps the fall will do us good ? , the other option could be a short-term Holloway appointment?
In answer to the OP, yes. The injury time win for Peterborough today moves them 3 points above us. However Hull lost and Derby only drew so those two are still below us. A win for Barnsley tomorrow will push City down into the bottom three on goal difference.
We are definitely in trouble. We lack any quality throughout most of the side. Our biggest issue is midfield. I was appalled by the attitude of Pack and Vaulks today. Quick to blame our youngsters whilst taking no onus on their own play. We are way too slow with no creativity.
Two wins and everything changes
We might be now. Until today it was looking like we'd thrown in the towel.
Ask .................

If going down might be a good thing ..........
It's a long way back .........
Yep relegation would be a disaster. There are though lots of teams in trouble including Derby, Hull, Peterborough, Cardiff, Brum, Reading and Barnsley.
It’s as if some people think we 1) get a new manager…2) he tells the players no more long balls…and 3) we start winning games and climbing up the league.
Whoever comes in is going to have to teach Nelson how to pass a football.
Guess who our best passing midfielder is?
Ryan Wintle. He’s on loan to Blackpool with a 84% passing rate. They love him.
Colwill - 77%
Ralls - 75%
Pack - 75%
Bacuna- 73%
Vaulks - 63%
Whoever we get as new manager 4th from bottom should be deemed as success, with hopefully some steps towards playing a better style of football.
Then try to improve next season.
With all these players out of contact at the end of the season, the performances so far from them all, shows they don’t give a toss about the club.
We are relegated, definitely.
No heart, no soul, no commitment, nothing in the bag to save us
