Money spent on transfer fees while Neil Warnock was Cardiff City manager: £58m (not including Sala).
Money spent on transfer fees while Mick McCarthy was Cardiff City manager: the spare change from down the back of the sofa that we used to sign Jonny Williams.
Who is more culpable for our current predicament?
I don’t agree with some of Warnock’s signings, and especially the sums involved, Madine comes to mind but how much does promotion to the PL bring to the club ?

We are in exactly the same ‘predicament’ financially that nearly every other Championship club is in at the current time, due mainly to the pandemic. The money that we have spent in the last four years is Vincent Tans, so what he spends it on is up to him. However, to get a Championship club promoted to the Premier League whilst spending around £10m on transfers, as Warnock did, is nothing short of a miracle, especially bearing in mind what state we were in when he arrived. He also brought us the ‘gems’ for nothing that were Bamba and Hoilett and reconnected the club to the fans, filling the stadium in the process. I will never forget that and am extremely grateful to him for what he did. Perhaps if he was still here now, we wouldn't be languishing close to relegation again, as we were before he arrived. A bit more respect and gratitude to Warnock from people like you wouldn't go amiss either. He was hounded by people on social media who have nothing better to do, who continually drag up money spent on Madine, Murphy etc and totally forget all the good that he did. Be careful what you wish for is the old adage and this is particularly true now that Harris & McCarthy have been and gone whilst being treated in the same way as Warnock was at the end of his tenure. No doubt the next manager, whoever he is, wont be welcomed with open arms either by some fans.
Mr Mick McCarthy
I think that Mick is over the hill and I didn't want us to extend his contract, but look at what he's had to work with this season. Our squad yesterday was mostly players that Warnock signed and kids from the academy.
I don't like warnocks little englander Maggie Thatcher bollocks and he made some big mistakes but he took a ailing club and dragged it up
We stabilised then he went for it
I don't care if he does the wind up celebration at every club he's at , it worked here
The position we are in ?
Warnock
Vincent Tan.
No question in my mind given the recent meeting with Dalman. Should Dalman have been telling the truth during said interview.
As I said many times before we got promoted despite the owner and board and not in many ways because of them.
But NW signings got us promoted to the Prem, which is worth 100+ plus, he made us a lot more more money than he spent.
