I believe it's common practice in international breaks. Makes them feel involved, they can visit home/family/friends etc
At first, I thought this doesn't make good reading. However, on reflection, it probably makes some sense. The Player gets to spend time with his family and as 'City123' said... makes the player not feel detached from his parent club.
Sounds like a good idea. Maybe we should be doing that with our loanees.
