I've been asked by a close family friend if I know how long the offence of being convicted of benefit fraud stays on your criminal record for?
It happened in 2012 and she was convicted of obtaining money by false representation. (without dishonesty)

Sasha was convicted of 4 counts of benefit fraud in May 2012, when she was 31. Under the new rules, these will be removed from standard or enhanced DBS checks in May 2023, 11 years after Sasha was convicted as an adult.

All the offences stay on the DBS return.
They just don't count under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act so she has nothing to worry about.
