True. They are probably only worth a packet of Woodbines and a used Bury scarf with their debt.

All part of their 25 year plan for promotion.

Ridiculous price, especially when you consider that Liverpool fans paid £30 at Stamford Bridge on the weekend.

Why on earth can the Premier League agree an away ticket price cap but the football league cant? Even £25, which isn't exactly cheap would be reasonable.

Any idea what allocation we have? The number never gets quoted in the club announcements.

Any team that does this should have the favour returned plus extra

If Bristol City charge us £33 now we should set theirs to £45

£20 really is plenty. Teams will often make more money per head from the away fans as they'll often eat and drink in the ground

I'm waiting on Sludge's opinion on this before I comment.

I thought for a minute that this was news of another club being sold to a group of investors.

Should sell out pretty quickly even with the ridiculous ticket prices, is it our largest allocation of the season?

    It’s actually £34

Do they think they are Leeds? £34 verges on extortion. But, it's a chance to watch us play, live. Pick n shovel.

    Adult - £21
    Over 60 - £17
    Under 22 - £11
    Under 16 - £9

That’s what we charge away fans apparently
Would be nice if our club took a stand and said “these are our prices, however we’ll charge whatever you charge. Up to you if you want our original prices or our increased prices”. Make a big song and dance about it in the press and shame the other clubs into lowering their prices.

Maybe they want funds for a new statue.

That would be great, but it's not the clubs that pay for the tickets, it's the fans. So those clubs that charge extra will have no problems allowing their own fans to be charged the same ridiculous amount in return.

Our prices are generally amongst the cheapest if not the actual cheapest in the league. We charge away fans what we charge home fans. League rules oblige you to charge same prices you charge home fans in a similar area in the ground.

Bristol charge £33 to their own fans behind the opposite goal, though allow you to buy a membership and that means you can save £5 a ticket.

Extortion. Should be boycotting the game and going to watch local non-league sides instead. If people keep paying it, they'll keep charging it.

And for anyone looking to park at Bedminster CC, it's now a tenner plus £1.50 booking fee, booked in advance. To make the cost of match ticket plus parking etc worthwhile ...Aden Flint....93rd minute winner? How good would that be.

For the first few posts in this thread I honestly thought Lansdown was selling-up.
