Deaths from Covid ALONE between Jan 1 2020 to 30/9/2021 only 17,371
Well yes , but not everyone thinks that hence the difference of opinions
Hardly news though, is it? Seems like one of those things that will set the conspiracy theorists off, but most reasonable people are, I'm pretty sure, already fully aware that only a tiny percentage of people with no underlying health issues die from Covid-19 alone and the vast majority of those are elderly.

The ONS gives figures weekly based on all deaths registered involving Covid-19, according to what a doctor puts on the death certificate, whether in or out of hospital
The virus may not be the main cause of death, just a factor. There does not need to have been a positive test - it could be it was just suspected by the doctor
Office for Statistics for England and Wales reveals that just 17,371 deaths had Covid as the ONLY cause of death on death certs over 21 months.
Average age at death of these was 81/82 years.
The rest had other underlying health issues.

I'm aware of this. I should think most of us are by now. But we still haven't established what it is that's so revelatory about the figures quoted in the video.
Doesn't surprise me in the least that you don't 'get it'.
Why is it incredible though? How many people in this country have absolutely zero health conditions and aren’t overweight, don’t drink and don’t smoke? 18k of those people died because of Covid. Okay. What’s your point?
Someone with a pre existing heart condition who’s heart fails because of Covid shouldn’t count as a Covid death?
There have been 150k excess deaths and something has caused that massive increase. What is it?

Quite right.
A virus comes along and causes lots of deaths, even if the virus itself isn't the actual cause of death, but a factor. We get some cretins who are trying to suggest that, because it isn't the cause itself, that the other health issues are the main problem, not the virus. THESE PEOPLE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED IF COVID HADN'T EXISTED.

To put this into further perspective, according to the ONS, the total number of deaths in England and Wales in 2018 from influenza ALONE was 1,598. For 2019, the figure was 1,223.
