Thread: Relegation now a 4-horse race?

  1. #1

    Relegation now a 4-horse race?

We're still in 20th but with a 10 point gap to Reading in 21st.

It's also entirely possible we'll be above the Jacks in just over a month going into the derby.

2 more wins, or 6 more points should do it.

The jacks have some tough games coming up (Bournemouth, West Brom Fulham, sheff utd).reckon we will finish above the wurzels, brum and hull at least…..

I'm hoping Peterborough or Derby go on a bit of a run now and drag the jacks into the mix. Jacks could very easily lose the next 4 !

The last three games have really turned our season around. I was worried where the points were going to come from, but now, we're well clear, and chasing down the teams above us. To be fair, we have signed some pretty good loan players, and I hope they're already working on how to replace them, once the season ends.

14 points from the play offs.
There is usually one team who climbs the table after Christmas

    They still won't go down.

    37 points sufficient?

    I’d say 45 plus ?

Can't see Reading or Peterborough realistically getting more points in the final 3rd of the season than they have in the entire of the season to date. 40 at a max should realistically be enough.

    40 will do it.

Weve a side at the moment which will get us over the 50 mark let alone 40.

I think Pboro Barnsley Reading I reckon.

We technically have a new team and teams might begin to suss us out after a few more games. I think we'll be safe enough but there might be a few hairy moments yet.

I'll feel more relaxed when we get to 40ish, hopefully as quickly as possible.

Bit early to write us out of any scrap, we have seen how quickly things can turn.

On last night’s showing it’s very difficult to suss out players who knock it ten yards past a defender, who has to turn, and then chase after it like Usain Bolt.

Fair point, but you can be aware of pace and still your best laid plans get blown away - Dramah and Davies, to name two, have made a huge difference.

Exactly! You just cannot legislate for sheer pace.

If Drameh has burned his bridges at Leeds then I will be shocked if he doesnt get a move to a newly promoted Premier League side next season, or a side that comes down from PL with parachute money.

Unless someone's just as quick coming the other way.
