    David Morgan’s didn’t close in 1971 though did it, seems much more recent than that to me.

    I was living in Fairwater from the early sixties and I can’t remember that Swiss Cottage ever being occupied.
    You mis read the caption under the photo - it says on the last day before decimalisation, not closure.

    Picture 23 in the Haye’s has “Cardiff City” sprayed on the wall of the Slug and Lettuce
