Well he clearly isn't is he ?

Tomlin was a highly gifted footballer but he was no athlete was he ?

And fury is out of condition yet he's champion on the world ?

That's says it all about heavyweight boxing

A top level heavyweight shouldnt have his belly and love handles wobbling
It was laughable really , if bodybuilders years older than him can cut and shred then why can't he ?

Some people can't. Fury has never been cut, even in his younger days, plenty of heavyweight boxers aren't. He also went up to 30 stone, so his skin has stretched. Fury wouldn't be the same fighter if he carried about loads of muscle, he'd gas easily and become robotic. He's incredibly fit for the discipline that he takes part in.

of course he's an athlete, do you have any concept how much cardio work you have to do to be a boxer? or how exhausting it is constantly moving whilst punching and being punched by an 18 stone man?

for someone who's sport is chucking a bit of string with a hook on it into water you're talking a big game

Well clearly he's either got a crap conditioning coach or somehow he's avoiding training

There is very little evidence watching him that he has any muscularity at all. He's a good boxer but he's not an athlete

Sugar Ray Leonard , Hagler , Hearns

You watch them before a weigh in

Then watch Tysoe with his man boobs , beer gut and fat around his back

That's not an athlete, he's a circus act

Ok you're on a windup, you were playing it beautifully but you've overreached yourself

He's a Heavyweight, there is no weight limit. The others you have quoted were middle weights, so they had to drain themselves before a fight, they would have walked around at 15lbs heavier than they were at the weigh in, sometimes more.

    I know they were middleweights

Maradona was a technically brilliant player but he was fat

    Re: Fury v Whyte

I was watching the fight and didn't see the uppercut in real time.
Suddenly, Whyte was on the canvas and the commentator was going on about an uppercut.
Seemed to take ages before they found a clip of the punch.

    Prolly me again.
    Just ignore......

Anyone see the docu about Freddie Mills death?
    Showed some of his fights.
Now that was brutal - even allowing for the added sound effects.
    And they were light heavies....
Weren't the gloves less padded in those days too?

The level of opponents are terrible.
Wilder big punch but not a boxer
    Chisora british level
    Whyte european level if lucky
    Klitchko way passed his best
    The others were rubbish to

    Whose left out there?
    Usyk to small
Joshua glass chinned but size reach and power to trouble Fury.
Joe Joyce the slowest puncher i've ever seen.
Ruiz although fat has decent power and hand speed
All in all a very poor division

It’ll be on catch up I reckon, ‘Murder in Soho, Who Killed Freddie Mills’, BBC4

Some clueless comments in here fair play, it’s a fight, not a bodybuilding contest.

Andy Ruiz laid out Joshua, give your heads a wobble.

Exactly, Frank Bruno had a perfect physique but that’s about all.
