He's absolutely right. A foodbank that teaches people how to cook well with ingredients is a better one than one that doesnt.

Tories raised the minimum wage more than the Labour party did
Tories raised income tax threshold more than the Labour party did
Tories tend to get more working class people actually in work.

Thats not a defence of the Tories, it's a criticism of your inaccurate post that treats politics like it's some kind of 16th century religion

What if you can’t afford the ingredients? ..........Just read the recipe I s’pose.

The food at foodbanks is provided free.

The idea is to make the food last longer and get the maximum nutrition from it, and so that if you have £10 or £5 or £3 spare, that you can make the most out of that.

Quite obviously, helping people who are hungry to maximise the use of food is a good thing, even if it it within the context of foodbanks generally being a negative.
