All good - and some growing evidence that it is not just words.
But given the lack of knowledge and limited experience on the board (although the part-time CEO and Chair are not inexperienced any more) there should surely be someone else in the club who can stay focussed on the strategy (especially with the Academy and recruitment) and provide continuity if/when a manager leaves. Isn't that the job description of a Director of Football.
The best potential DOF out there probably has no connection to Cardiff City - but I would like to see someone come in who gets the club and the fans, and can bring more to the mix than ability and competence. I would like to see a Steve McPhail or Eddie Newton in the job.
