Do some research. Not only is Coleman a member of the institute, he was also an office holder when it was known as the Eugenics Society. He's been offered the opportunity to deny it and declined every time. He's apparently very open to Polish people coming over here but not black or Asian people.
Secondly, playing the man is important. If he's a blatant old racist, co-founder of Immigration Watch btw, why should I trust his data? Anyone can make up any old bollocks by using whatever data suits their argument, whether they're a professor or just a message board poster. Sometimes it is important to find out if there may be a raison d'ętre behind an opinion. Had a pro-immigration professor found startling evidence as Coleman had, I think we would take it seriously. If it's just an old racist, with a certain track record, who comes up with something to back up his own prejudices, then I'd regard those opinions as worthless.
