Are you for real? You just said to me "I knew you would pop up crying".

Not snide at all if you say something to me, is it?

Probably in hindsight yes but two wrongs don’t make a right so I apologise if you thought I was

Some posters are full of “noise” and probably use their anonymity knowing what and what not they can get away with………….I’d love to meet half of them in real life over a beer and I’m sure they are lovely

Don't take it to heart; he's always eager to have a pop at moi as well... and I'm not shy about sticking a retaliatory boot in.

You're not going to enjoy the couple of pops I've had at you this morning

I doubt you can afford to lay big money Life on Mars. You were posting about having to cut back on your media package in another thread.

Cost of living creeping up a bit for you?

You come across as if you’re superior to posters both intellectually and in this case financially. WAF

    Sniping again T.

You have been showing concern regarding the cost of living crisis in this thread (as I have I) while Life on Mars has belittled it at every juncture saying that he's financially ok and people are still going out socially.

Strange that you choose my post to jump on and not any of his that contradict your viewpoint.

Why would that be? Would it be something personal, perhaps?

I’m just replying to a thread on here and you’re posts do come across like that I’m afraid, I don’t tend to get personal with anonymous posters. Hope that helps

Read my replies to life on Mars properly and not with your biased goggles and see that I've been arguing your case that the cost of living crisis is real while he has been posting for weeks about how it's made up because people are still holidaying and socialising etc.

In posts in another thread he was saying how he's not noticed a drop in his standard of living so that's another piece of evidence as to why the cost of living crisis is fake.

The post you took umbrage at was me being sarcastic as he said in a thread on the main board that he was going to cut back on his sky subscription or words to that effect.

Like I said, you've chosen my posts in a thread in which I have been running alongside your viewpoint that the cost of living crisis is real and you somehow decided that they were the ones to get upset about.

    Ask yourself why that is?

Moving on, the cost of living crisis was always going to be “played” after two years of austerity to distract from the disastrous spending by governments during the pandemic. It is real that’s for sure but it’s mainly from the governments making , at least that’s what I think.

The government can still find billions to fund a proxy war in Ukraine, afford to give M.P’s pay rises etc yet folk can’t afford to eat or send their kids to school. Ask yourself why that is ?

    "Moving on". Ok mate

We've all asked ourselves that question and the majority of people (I would guess) know that it's because this government doesn't care about us plebs.

I used to be a lifeguard at that swimming pool in my teenage years, there's so many impacts like these that you wouldn't even consider with all this but seem to obvious once you know about them
