Highlights for me will be if it pisses down on the last day and the Cheleas Tractros get struck .
Has Greta worked out its carbon footprint , or do all the fans , bands walk there ,did she walk there ,was JC this year ?
900 acres of people ??
Sewerage , farting ,ozone layer ??
Nah! I've always thought Gretsch is for the oldies. Not only that they are (or used to be)very expensive. Having said that I bought a 1963 Strat in 1966 for £150 which was incredibly expensive at the time. The orange Gretsch at that time was £325.
Having said that I have noticed the absence of Strats at Glastonbury. Jag's used to be regarded as old fashioned and didn't take off in the early years but for some reason they seem to be fashionable now.
So what's everybody watching on the final day?
Diana Ross at the moment in the legends slot.
If I'm still awake later it'll be the Pet Shop Boys and not Kendrick Lemar.
What a stupid thing to say.
Jimi Hendrix - Fender
Eddie Van Halen - Modified Fender
Keith Richards - Fender
Rory Gallagher - Fender
Chuck Berry - Gibson
BB King - Gibson
Eric Clapton - Fender
Johnny Marr - Rickenbacker/Fender
John McGeoch - Yamaha
The only guitarist of note I can think of that uses a Gretsch is Brian Setzer.
Guy Garvie. He's no Freddie Mercury.
Used to like One Day Like this....
Yawn!
How do people keep there phones charged there? On day 3 now and still loads filming in the crowd.
