I would’ve thought that the Welsh clubs could go the Court of Arbitration for Sport on this.
There's probably not that many Premier League clubs who loan out loads of players.
Squads will be larger for the coming season due to the 5 sub rule meaning there will be fewer PL loan signings in particular up for grabs. Pity that we missed out on Doyle but the fact he has been loaned out again suggests he has no future at Manchester City.
There's no rule stopping us buying players. 😂😂
I wondered this myself so had a look:
Number of loans from Prem clubs in summer 2021 with loans to non-English leagues in brackets:
Arsenal 11 (8)
Villa 10 (3)
Brighton 16 (7)
Brentford 3 (1)
Burnley 4 (0)
Chelsea 20 (8)
Palace 1 (0)
Everton 7 (4)
Leeds 8 (4)
Leicester 6 (1)
Liverpool 9 (5)
Man C 25 (18)
Man U 12 (5)
Newcastle 4 (1)
Norwich 13 (4)
Soton 4 (1)
Spurs 6 (3)
Watford 16 (6)
West ham 6 (1)
Wolves 12 (8)
So it depends who we're asking.
The reason is ( you know who is ?????? ) sssssh..
the other downside is that the likes of man city are going to have to loan more players in the championship, so all of our rivals will potentially be getting bette rloan options except us and Swansea
