    Aldi version up to £2.19 I can't tell diff

    Butterpak is fairly decent, think its Sainsburys

    My youngest could always tell when we swapped out Lurpak for anything else, we have settled on Butterpak if Lurpak isnt on offer

    Scoop it out and put it in the old lurpak box they won't know, we used to do it with lots of alternatives when the kids were younger, then told them a few months later so they couldn't complain anymore, loved their faces when we told them.

    I usually buy the Aldi lidl versions about 2.19..

    They do.an Anchor Spreadable I notice both have very similar butter content of 60% .

    I cant tell the difference from big brands on these bad boys ??

    Depends on product and Supermarkets I think Aldis and Lidl are pushing thier suppliers to.match the brands on taste lot comes from Eire ..

    I find the Castle Daries spreadable to be about the best tasting spreadable butter out there at the moment.

    Own-brand mineral water has shot up in price at Asda and Tesco from about 17p a large plastic bottle to 60p.

    I drink tap water so whereas I used to save 17p for every 2 litres i drank, I'm now saving 60p.

    Yeah its a funny one, these companies don't actually make the water, they just bottle it. madness!
