I can't think of anything more boring than watching cows and sheep being paraded around a showground in a field
Is it just me ?
Me too....
I'll tell you who took any notice
I like looking at Cows.
We went to the royal bath and west show ( I guess its the same as the royal welsh ) pre covid, my daughter won tickets in a school raffle, it was a decent day out, loads of " samples " of cheese and ciders, the sample glass of cider was a decent size, you could also pay a fiver for a " sample flight of ciders " and you had to rate them 1 to 7
had some nice street food, we were on-site all day, the mrs had to drive on the way home, lets say I was a little merry
I didnt watch any of the animal parades though, the falcon display was good, they had a sheepdog display
IMHO is slightly more than cows and sheep being paraded around a ring
Been once. Twas a decent trip.
Staying with days out, I'm on for a visit to St Fagans, but as you say on a carefully selected cooler day.
I realise these are more enlightened times but I'm not ready to tour the site hand in hand with you, much less doing so while singing Abba's Dancing Queen together.
Please remain patient.

A few years ago the family went to the Salen Show on the Isle of Mull. There was bugger all to do on the island that day. Everyone on Mull was there. It remains one of the best days out I've ever had. They had a small dog racing track on the top field that became "terror racing" for toddlers to run around. The venison burger I had was amazing as well. I'd love to do the Royal Welsh. It's not just about watching cows and sheep being paraded around, though the sheep gave me a wankbank for months.
I’m going Thursday I’ll let you know.
I feel it's my social duty to introduce to:
