Re: Your Favourite Non Welsh or Cardiff Player ever
Maradona. 86 World Cup. Nothing else comes remotely close to what he achieved that tournament.
Messi for genius at the top level for so long but he did have the advantage of playing in some unreal sides.
Ronaldinho probably my favourite player though. The things he could do with a football and play with a smile on his face. You can’t put a price on that.

Totally left field, but Michael Barrantes. Virtually all of you would be thinking who the fck is he? He was a centre/attacking midfielder with my favourite Norwegian side, Aalesund. Costa Rican international. Think Peter Whittingham but with pace and energy and an even better left foot. Scorer of unbelievable goals while being the heartbeat of the side. Was lucky to meet him when they played Neath in a Europa qualifier a few years ago. I would have loved him to have played for us.
I loved watching Thierry Henry. He was so sublime on the ball. Salah has come close to making the game look as easy as he did.
Yes, agree that Salah is the only player in the PL who can hold a candle to what Henry did. Whenever and wherever they get the ball, they could create or score, and the consistency to have that game after game, season in season out.

Alan Shearer. A brute, beyond clinical and scored his fair share of absolute sh*t-pingers too. That Newcastle team at the turn of the millennium was great to watch.
