I'm guessing you have a concrete floor and the tiles have been stuck down on that. Hard job !

Finally got around to starting mine.
Got the toilet out, which was orrible.
Got the pipes capped
Fook Me, getting the tiles up is hard work.
Anyone used a Rotary Hammer?
Think I might have to get one at this rate.

If you were in the Uk, I'd say pop along to screwfix and buy one of these

£65,
put the flat tool in and away you go
you will of course be able to buy them in Home Depot / lowes etc etc
Cheap large sds drill ( its not going to be massively worked )
one of these bits
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-3-in-...ng-Bit/1242637
you call them Scaling chisel it looks like
you must be able to get cheaper " own brands " ( I must admit my knowledge of US power tools is limited to the main brands, slight funny side story , I got Married in Vegas, middle of our trip, We are in a Vegas tool store buying a Dewalt 14.4 v Cordless drill and 2 batteries , had some funny looks when the batteries were in the hand luggage )
its not going to be hammered ( no pun intended ) so a own brand would be fine, and if it does die inside a week, just return it
though that will slice them off easy enough
Home Depot is blocked from the UK, strange
Just thought of Walmart
something like this
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Stark-Ele...8?athbdg=L1700
or this if you wanted to go bigger ( though imho the 1st is fine and comes with a flat bit )

If they're a f ucker to take up, then get something decent. It may cost you an extra $100 but it's so worth it when you see the progress and the difference a more powerful and better built power tool Makes. Let's face it, you're on it now, pissing about with rubbish will spin you out, waste you time and probably cost you more. Good luck
A 240v sds hammer drill will do it. Just buy a few extra chisel bits as they snap at the stem when they heat up.
So I got a Bosch Bulldog Cordless SDS Tool.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-18-Vo...nly/1000979918
$200 plus $150 worth of batteries and a charger for free.
Lady outside the store working for Bosch gave me a tshirt and another free battery when she saw me Furry the gear to the car.
What an amazing tool. I finished the floor in a little over an hour.
Time to get the tiles off the drywall now!
Many a home improver has met the same fate. This is best left to the professionals ....and when i say professionals i mean pikeys.
DC Blue wants to hope that the tilers did a shit job of sealing the wall before they tiled or that the tiles are on a cement board, otherwise that drywall will be a f ucked wall.
I dug into cement board big time.
Like a webbing with crumbled concrete behind it.
I was a bit concerned at first but my Mate who's making sure I don't fcuk everything up says we are replacing it anyway.
About another 60sq ft to do on the walls.
Tub out tomorrow.
Thinking of grinding it into thirds/quarters for removal.
