I don't remember being bitten by flies when I was a kid, now it's a regular occurance
I buy a paper Monday to Friday, for the sole purpose of killing flies. I don't buy weekend papers, just to give the buggers a sporting chance.

I find improving hygiene in the home helps.
Never mind the flies I fecking hate Mosquitoes but they love me! I’ve tried everything on the market without success. The walls & ceilings in my house are covered in little explosions of (my) blood. Didn’t associate Poland with mosquitoes, big oversight. Did I mention I hate the feckers.

The resolution is poor regarding this documentary about food decay and the role of flies and moulds but it was quite a fascinating watch on the BBC a number of years ago. The 'disappearance' of the flies in the sealed room baffled the presenter until it became evident what became of them......
