I just assumed the one lying down was teething and had a bit too much Captain Morgan's!

Way off the mark, that’s me in the cloth cap by the low bridge sign, told the missus I was taking the kids out for hour, put ‘em in the gutter to safely play and I’m pissing off down The Boar’s Head.

I used to love the little cafe out of shot to the left. Faggots and peas and a cup of tea.

travelling community running horses up and down outside on a Sunday to sell them. Pitch and toss in the field where Lidl is now.

I even remember these things in black and white

You must be very old then. I have seen some ancient photos showing a level crossing, before the railway was raised on an embankment. I can't remember if it was both lines, or just one of them.

In my defence my memory goes back a long way but I'm so old I can't remember it!

I was convinced there are two bridges but still went on Google maps to check.

I remember the one, out of shot on the right, just beyond the 2nd bridge (bed store now I think) where I used to go in the early 1960s and await 50% of the team to pop in for their post training pies, pasties, double egg/chips and beans on toast at around midday, followed by treacle sponge and custard. And of course a Capstan Full Strength, a puff or three to chill! Get in there, autograph time and home for tea!
