Since being appointed, Steve Morison's Cardiff City have scored an average 1.07 goals a game. Which former Bluebirds manager is the only manager to have managed us for 30 games or more, to have achieved a worse average than that?
Ole?
McCarthy.
Harris then?
Got to be Slade?
What time period are we talking?
Don't think Graham Williams or Billy Ayre were in charge for thirty matches were they?
Len Ashurst in his second spell?
Is it Russel Osman? Or Frankie Burrows the second time around?
Malky mckay
After some of the absolute shite sides weve had I cant believe the answer is a manager who got us in the play offs and a cup final then the footballeague championsip. We even put 3 past Man City in the PL. Surely not.
I think he might be wrong there!
Valley's Caveman had it - Phil Neal at 0.84 goals a game.
We scored 1.4 goals a game with Malky as manager. Surprisingly this was a smidgen higher than our scoring average under Dave Jones.
Billy McCandless leads the way with 1.97 after a hugely successful promotion season in 1946/47. Alan Cork comes next with 1.94, again on the back of a promotion season where lots of goals were scored.
