That argument doesn't wash in these days of social media. Dissenting scientists can out their views online and there will be a lot of people who think like you do who will find it and try to "spread the word". Also, Dr Malhotra, who is a convincing advocate for anti vaccine views, has appeared on mainstream media - the problem as I see it is that there aren't many as authentic sounding as him around.
