Davies at left back ended up being one of worst performing players, so it could hardly have been any worse if he played in a slightly different position. The tactics were all wrong and the result was inevitable.

No worse than your boy Ampadu. I didn’t even realise he was playing until he was moved to right back.

Yes what a crazy decision to play Davies at left back where he’s played hundreds of PL games.

    Page Out.

    Page Out.
I think FAW have got to look beyond Page ..... and maybe even beyond ex-pros who played for Wales to someone with managerial experience.

I'm convinced that most of what has been achieved over the last decade or so is pretty much down to having two world class players, a lot of decent professionals and a great team ethic/continuity though the age groups.

If we were able to develop young managers in the same way I think we could achieve more.

Coleman, Giggs, Page, with loads of respect, admiration and gratitude, do not represent a comparable level of potential as the players.

A lot of the players are likely to have good or great careers in the top divisions of the best leagues. We haven't had a manager like that since Sparky.

I think you need the whole package nowadays.

Sparky was a big name , popular with the players but fluffed and bottled

Coleman was the best manager of our generation in reflection

    I would have him back

We can debate team selection all night but whatever team Page had put together tonight they would have been outplayed by a vastly superior England side. Having said that England have not yet been tested against serious opposition (USA were good but there are far better teams left in the competition) so the hype and the euphoria which we will witness in the media tomorrow may be short lived.

The result was so predictable despite all the optimism in some quarters. Thankfully the humiliating defeat I feared did not materialise although it could easily have happened if England had scored the other chances they squandered.

Thankfully they took their foot off the gas after the
    3rd.

Wonder what would have happened if they’d chosen Bellamy over Giggs?

Wales out with the only saving grace being that at least City’s Rubin Colwill got some game time.

Did any Welsh player have even a decent World Cup?

Some interesting stats on passing here
    https://fbref.com/en/comps/1/passing/World-Cup-Stats
Wales are currently 27th out of 32 for pass accuracy. Top for most long passes attempted though.
