What a nice guy he is in the way he conducts himself with the players and the media
They will probably sack him but they shouldn't. He's the right man to get the best out of those players as England are not a top level international side even though they think they are .

He takes a mean tournament pelanty as well.
Probably too nice which is why they fail so miserably. Give Warnock the gig
OK. So what defines a top international side?
England got further in this tournament than Germany, Belgium and Spain, and went out at the same stage as Brazil, Portugal and the Netherlands. So if they're not top international sides, who is? Just the four left in?
I agree. To have to face France in a quarter final was as tough as it could have got.
I thought Sam Matterfaeces was bang out of order near the end of the game to question Southgate's contract and suggest that losing in a quarter final was disappointing. There was absolutely no consideration of who England lost to. Tough draw.
Because France were winning they were looking for scapegoats.
Saka, foden, and Bellingham arent as good as anyone.
Kane's penalty said otherwise.
English media - I agree
Kane is never as good as Giroud
Really good players are not world class tournament winners
England have a good work ethic but do not have enough to trouble the top table
Every time they come up against a really good side they get dumped out
For the recent euros England beat Germany before losing to Italy and Germany were poor
Southgate may come across as a nice guy but his team are probably the worst sportsman in the world cup. They won their second penalty but they weren't satisfied with that they had they to get the player booked. Every decision that went against them they were in the refs face.
