    I don't think that's backing up 👆 the arguement

That is the issue there though.

Do you think Beale even registers on the list of possible managers with our board?

Managers like that are either too expensive for us or due to the way we manage the club (current embargo being a typical example) managers just out of the question. They just wouldn't consider coming here.

We were told by the media that he was in the running when we appointed Morison - must admit I was cynical about that.

We’ll end up with Ian or Pete Beale.

But he's also not "nowhere near the driving seat" if we're still carrying the remnants of his tenure (including the budgetary stuff that's been discussed often enough now). One of dispiriting things about this malaise is the way we've shambled into it; it's being selective to think NW had no part in that.

Apparently the guy who plays Ian Beale is a really good footballer. Perhaps he can do a job up front.?

You told us to wait for Nathan Jones earlier...

I don’t think it’s lack of effort, I think a manager setting us up correctly would get more out of all of them. Hudsons post match comments show things are not well and players are not happy.

    What did he say?

Fate has not been kind. I think you smashed your transfer record on Sala. If he safely arrived in Cardiff you very well could have stayed up.
Now when you need to get a striker in you can't because of the issues surrounding Sala's transfer fee. Its a nightmare situation.

I hope things improve very soon but where are the goals coming from?

Not from Rinamota with free headers with his eyes feckin shut thats for sure.

Oh for someone to put the ball in the net.
    Well said SP.

    Long way to go.

Perhaps but I think any manager at this level would have their work cut out with the shower of a line up we put out today. 3 of them are miles off the level required. I cannot believe we paid a fee for Simpson, while we are starting both Whyte and Harris. It’s embarrassing. Sang probably isn’t good enough but at least he’s not noticeably bad. Those three on the other hand… I really like Whyte and Harris, too. They work their socks off but they are crap, and they’re getting regular game time. Says it all.

I do think someone like Wilder could get a tune out of them but it’s a big ask. The squad is a complete mess.

My bad mood today with my cold has been made much worse by this result.
A late afternoon visit to one of my favourite places, Whitesands St David's has not improved my mood at all.
    Hudson OUT!!!@@

We have a number of players than can be classed as 'OK' - Whyte, Sang, Harris, Ng, but Hudson is becoming more pragmatic in his line ups each game. Until 6 or 7 games ago we were creating chances but not taking them - we're now struggling to threaten sides at all. When the season ends and one or two sides have been relegated by a couple of points, it's having to many 'ordinary' players in your team that causes the problems.

Steve Morison said we didn’t pay a fee for Simpson.

I’d agree with this, we’ve had trouble scoring all season, but the last three games have been a lot worse in that respect.

Of those four, only Ng is an "OK" player by Championship standards. Whyte and Harris are crap and Sang barely plays.

If our squad were full of "ordinary" players then our results would probably be "ordinary" as well and we wouldn't be in a relegation battle.
