Wales is definitely much worse, but the whole Country is in a mess.

Maybe lower staffing levels than a hospital, but hardly 'minimal'.
Not care homes, recovery units for oldies during the winter rush to free up emergency beds, once colds, flu and covid drops hopeully there would be less need, it would need to be a tempary measure. A lot of these are fit to go home but there are not enough home carers left to give them a bit of additional support, for the first six weeks.

Tough times for whoever is in power because of a once in 100 Year event (covid), once in 40-year event (Brexit/Common Market) and a full blown war in Europe resulting in the energy crisis.

It started out as an emergency service but has grown into a massive money pit, it will have to be reformed at some point, as it won't be able to continue as it is.
The reason the nhs is in such a mess is down to 12 years of tory rule

That has also meant that the nhs in Wales has suffered

If you starve a body of oxygen then it dies

Either we cut the nhs in size and fund a bare bones service ......and the rest of the country pays for health care

Or ......the NHS is funded better at core and we raise taxes to pay for it

The Tories don't want to raise taxes so its eventually going to be cut into bits

The fault for the current state of the NHS is the Tories fault . It doesn't fund it enough in England nor give Wales enough to do likewise .

If you give someone 500 quid to build a wall when that wall should cost about 3000 quid .....you are going to get a crap wall that eventually falls down

Of course mistakes are made .....by the builders ......drakeford etc ......but that's essentially what's happening in Wales

Why do you think there are not enough carers ?

I will give you a clue

The Tories privatised the care system

People working in care used to be employed by local councils , would have a pension , reasonable working hours , pay

Your lot gave all that work to private companies .....most with little knowledge of care ......no pensions , crap pay , no job security

No wonder there are so many vacancies

And the Tories say they are going to fix the care crisis

          Bunch of dodgy salesmen

You'll have a chance to see what Labour can do in a few years, I guarantee it will continue in the same manner there is not enough money to change things and Liz Truss proved the magic money tree, isn't really magic it's just a bigger loan that will ruin the economy.

We've had an insight with Drakeford they'll just have stupid gimmicks and make things worse, Wales is in a total mess.

Re: Health Services In Trouble Accross Europe .

It's almost as if modern healthcare is a complex and costly issue beset by management issues, ageing populations and exacerbated by Covid and Ukraine based inflation.

And yet we still get the borderline Qanon esque argument that "ItS TOrY sCuM prIvAtisInG tHe NHs".
