Re: HULL CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Well, it sounded a bit better, on the radio, but we still lost. Things not looking good.

I’m planning on coming next Saturday, as we might not be back in the Championship for while.
    This is pathetic, mind.

it'd been a shit show all season.

Seems such fine margins, but must be so easy to play us, they know they will get a chance and once they score they have won. So frustrating though, we all know we needed a left back and one or two forward thinking players who are actual upgrades on who we had.

We fluffed a first half pen, fine margins. They were on a par with us, they took their chance, we spewed an easier chance.

No full backs again ...Mick tried the 4 even 5 centre half line up to no avail

Next week we’re getting hammered and Hull are obviously better than us as they just won 1-0 and we couldn’t score in a brothel.

The scoreline is all that matters when that final whistle goes.

How it came about is irrelevant.

It’s a slight positive that nobody is stuffing us, not that they need to as we can’t score.
I still think Robinson having let his teammates down with that red against swansea has done very little to make up for it since. The pelanty attempt today was poor, weak and too low. As a right footer to go that way you need more power as the keeper will tend to go that way as the percentage guess.

Have to disagree. We got a lucky pelanty. They worked a few excellent opportunities, hit the post- they could have been 3-0 up in the first 20mins. We created a couple of half chances but never looked like scoring despite them sitting back for the last 15 minutes.

You can win a football match , but it doesn't mean you are better per se.

Our team were not outperformed by Hull......let alone hammered by them.

    That is what worries me.

The fundamental mistakes the board are making don't suddenly start improving because we're in the League 1.

We have no direction, no plan. That is disastrous whatever league you're in.

Kaba looks like he has something about him. Need to speed up the ball in the final third. So slow.

That's exactly what it means on that day.

If we're splitting hairs Hull are above us in the league and have more points.

I'm still clinging on to a little bit of hope but things clearly need to change drastically.

I'm finding myself questioning who's picking the team...

It could be Lamouchi and obviously should be, but some things just don't seem to have changed at all since Hudson was in the dugout.

aww man my chest, i cant take no more...

    im beat

thats it, far too many issues, poor luck, no luck of the rub, we dont attack short balls even though we cant beat the 1st man ever, or ng just over hits 1 out of touch, fair play to hull when we did eventually turn it on they were determined not to concede unlike us if we were 1 up... so frustrating, i dont know where you go from there, the morale has to be super deflated after that

and from the lam we will have we tried we this we that... no lam we lost mate

The blind positivity in here is admirable but also very misplaced.

    21st: Cardiff - P 30, pts 29
    22nd: Hudd - P 28, pts 27
    23rd: B'pool - P 28, pts 26
    24th Wigan - P 28, pts 25

No win since Nov 5th for City, three 0 - 1 defeats in a row and only one goal scored in the last seven games. And next week we face form team Middlesbrough. Tough times

So much for a new manager bounce.

Two defeats on the bounce and it wouldn't surprise me if it is three very soon.
Not sure we helped the good feeling of getting a new guy leaving it so late and having a less than impressive January transfer window where we signed a player Lamouchi knew nothing about.

But they weren’t 3-0 up, they should have gone in one down, our fault they didn’t. The pen wasn’t lucky, their player fouled our player in the box. The shot that hit the post was going wide and took two deflections to allow it to hit the post, it was way off target. Had it gone in, it would have been lucky. I honestly think we gave as good as we got today, they had the rub of the green, we didn’t.

It’s so frustrating, I’m getting that I wish we’d be getting beat by 4 or 5 regularly to put us out of our misery. A sort of ‘We’re miles worse than everyone else, so f*ck it’. These 0-1s, cruelly, have me clinging on.
