Lamouchi told not to speak to the media by EFL - that’s a disgrace. There’s going to be a joint statement issued by Rotherham and the EFL.
Denis Law scored 6 goals in a game ( late 50’s I believe) that was abandoned. Was on the losing side in the rescheduled game.
I’m on my phone so uploading pics is a pain. So here are my tweets

Rotherham v Cardiff: MATCH POSTPONED

Irrespective of the efforts of the groundstaff, if that doesn't drain away then there's something wrong with how that pitch has been constructed. If modern cricket grounds can drain quickly, then football grounds should too.
Also, wtf is going on with the pitch markings?
The rearranged game is going to be tasty.
[QUOTE=LA Bluebird;5403679]15 minutes of rain shouldn't mean a match is abandoned at any level[/QUOTE
Quite. Something is seriously wrong with that pitch.
Embarrassing.
Looking at our remaining fixtures the rearranged match can only really be between the Stoke and Huddersfield games or Huddersfield and Burnley.
Played in a county cup semi-final once, we were 1-0 up with 30 minutes to go when it was abandoned. Lost the rearranged match 1-2
Not sure if this has been posted.
They only had the sprinklers on at H/T

Just looked on their message board and their fans are delighted and think it’s hilarious we’re upset. Hope it bites them and they end up going down
Fair play to them I say, any team would have done the same.
Timing of the rearranged fixture will be crucial. With Huddersfield likely to stay up with Warnock in charge, it could be seen as a relegation play off final!
Weather happens but unless it was a cataclysmic flood in 10 minutes I don't believe it was worse than all grounds see at various points in a season.
Quite pathetic really.
I'm sure one of these postponements will eventually go in our favour and we wouldn't necessarily have gone on to win today but I don't see why in this country we don't just start from where it stopped.
Mostly feel the away fans.
Still furious about this 3 hrs later. 3 points would have put daylight between us and the relegation spots.
Very shabby by Rotherham. Clear they weren't bothered.
With the EFL looking into the circumstances of the abandonment, I wonder if they'll just order the 2nd half to be played (with us leading), rather than the full fixture?
Was at Ninian Park for that one. It was against Millwall and the game was abandoned after 37 mins, I think. There was an excellent photo of that incident, of Ronnie Bird trying to run up towards the Canton Stand in front of the dugout with huge spray of water behind. Would love to see that photo again.
