i know emily roberts, city keeper no 2... very well done to them
perhaps we should all go down and support the girls as they show the men how its done
Congratulations on a marvellous achievement - presumably they're in the women's equivalent of the Champions League now?
Top stuff.
Mighty Bluebirds.
My Grand Daughter made her debut (sub) yesterday for Cardiff Met 1st team V TNS, after TNS took the lead, the Met were ahead on two occasions only to eventually lose 4-5, to be on the periphery of the team after one season is IMO a great achievement for her at 17, the on the pitch language is shocking
U19’s ladies are national champions.

Congratulations to both teams.
They’ve done really well and women’s football in general is increasing in popularity. It’s a good thing! I’ve watched some matches on the tv including England women in the euros. It’s a lot cleaner and like a breath of fresh air tbh. It’s great for football in general and I’ve now ended supporting another team or two as a result - Cardiff men and women plus Wales and England women. The England manager Sarina Wiegman is pure football genius tbh.
It’s always makes me laugh when people say - why can’t she go and coach the men’s - like why the hell would she even want to! People have to remember the women footballers aren’t there for the money - it’s 100% purely for the football and it was a lot of hard times to get to where they are. Working two jobs sleeping on sofas washing kits etc etc. thank goodness it’s now changing for the better! Some of the top players are earning a good wage now.
As for Cardiff I am so happy with how well they’ve done. At least one of our teams is doing something for us fans to smile about
