Not by me. This lot haven’t been fleecing the club, that’s not even possible at present, but the way they’ve been running the club should be a concern to any fan. As for ambition, who knows if they retain any? We have a small board and they don’t appear to have been singing from the same hymn sheet in recent times.

City are a great example of what I was talking about earlier. Apparently, the club lost something like £29 million last season while finishing 18th in the Championship. Insanity.

It is,, but nearly all clubs are at it, so that's sort of the market ina perverse kind of way. If clubs weren't allowed to make such huge losses then rich foreign investors wouldn't be seen, in my opinion. For plenty of them it's a bit of fun, a gamble, they must know it's not really a viable business option. If they make a few quid and receive the publicity that they crave, then that's a bonus i suppose. Football clubs are the rich mans games room.

Manchester United and Manchester City will draw lots of supporters from Rochdale as its 8 miles up the road

And plenty of locals will probably watch Rochdale and United or Rochdale and Man City

But down here the glory seekers have no excuses and people in Cardiff supporting Man United can feck off as they have a league team to follow
