    No the old X1 service used to go from the main bus station all the way, can't remember where it terminated maybe Swansea. After the success of that season the PT supporters club started running a coach again. It used to drop us off and pick up in Lawrenny Ave. Then when that finished it was on the train with the big boys. The old X1 stopped everywhere on the A48, used to take an hour and a half to get home. By then I'd read the pink Echo twice.

    You could get a pink echo in porthcawl but then everything went dark

    I got the X2 into Swansea for the 1984 day of bedlam down the vetch

    I was 16

    No he did play for Arsenal again but not a lot. Similarly Roger Osborne scored the winner for Ipswich in 78 Cup Final and was swamped by his teammates, passed out and was stretchered off. I thought he never played again for them but apparently he did play a few games before moving on.

    Osborne had some kind of collapse through exhaustion didn't he ?
