As for Peterborough, I can’t remember seeing such a limp performances from a side - and I’m a season ticket holder at CCS!
You’d want him with you in the trenches.
Meet the person who fell asleep around the hour mark and then was woken up by all of the noise when Wednesday scored the winning penalty
Believe it or believe it not, I always thought Wednesday could turn it around, because they were playing against a flakey club. In recent years, Peterborough have been a high scoring side that always have conceded lots of goals - they’ve always been capable of conceding five in any given game.
I did have a feeling it could’ve been on the cards, but still, what a comeback. Must’ve been a great experience to have been in Hillsborough last night (unless you were in the away end).
Don’t have a Sky sub so had to contend with the scores coming through, switched back and forth between Sevilla/Juve and Basel/Fiorentina on the telly last night instead - both entertaining encounters. First time since 1989-90 when there will be Italian sides in the finals of all European competitions (in the days when there were three of course), with one of them being an all Italian affair.
Didn't realise it was being played...missed it!!! else I would have provided a link....
Vaulks and Flint dropped and they turn it around, what’s the chances.
Didn't see the game, but the chances of Vaulks and Flint making an impact in the last 20 minutes or so of a 'Hail Mary' kind of game are probably quite high. Vaulks forces mistakes and 2nd balls by pinging it long and throwing the ball 30 yards, and Flint on the end of set pieces etc, ideal for them really. Ask them to play from a standing start though and the pair of them are ****ed, i mean really ****ed. If spoiling, direct hopeful arms and legs football is required then look no further than those two.
