    Oh.

I always got confused because we have Benjamin the defender and goalkeeper, I assumed the keeper went to Man City

    He went, then he unwent.

I thought he (Lewys Benjamin the goalkeeper) was always supposed to stay with us until the summer after signing for Man City but I think something happened with the medical and the signing was never completed. Although he doesn't appear on any of the club site's team pages.

He's an U16, none of them have bios on the club website.

The reports in February saying he was on the verge of signing for Man City said he was 17. I expected to see him on the u18 team profiles. I think I remember him being on the bench for an u18 match earlier in the year, and he was in the squad for the u18 win over Burnley at the end of April.

I think this is a case of the club not being very good at communication or updating their team pages.

Trust me, he's an U16. Same age as Troy Perrett. He's a 2006 birth year and therefore cannot play for the Wales U16's (like Perrett). International football age groups are now done on calender years, whilst domestic football is done on school years or seasons. Therefore kids who are born between September and December have to play a year up at international level.

Benjamin, Perrett, Osian Rees, Debono (and Biancheri) are all U16's at school and domestically but fall into the U17 category at international level. By the way the article is wrong, Benjamin is age 16.
