I came onto the political section tonight to see if there were comments on the immigration centre for unaccompanied children in Dover. The painting over of the Mickey Mouse mural because it was ‘too welcoming’. I’ve always had contempt for Tories but this is on a new level of evil.
Sludge and others cant seem to understand or get a grip that there maybe other people out there with a different political opinion to their own. So their response is to stamp their feet and shout at the sheer audacity that people may think differently. Really? Now and again we come across a small story that illustrates the bigger picture. Like this one.
The UK is trying to stop people making an illegal journey across the channel from a safe country that enriches criminal gangs. This could be seen as encouraging it. It's easy to point to stuff like this but what about the kids who's parents are losing their jobs here for example? How might those kids lives be impacted?
