I can't think of a single current Welsh player who is good enough to play for England. Back in the day we have had Hugh Morris, Steve James, Steve Watkin and Robert Croft who were good enough and should have played more but, apart from those mentioned, are there any Welsh cricketers who could have represented England but haven't?
Of course they fund it, its their product.
Doesn't make me want to support them and it doesn't make the team anything but England.
I've no issue with anyone who supports them if they are Welsh, Scottish, Irish etc I just don't get it. Admittedly I'm not a massive cricket fan but its great sport in the right circumstances and Stokes batting today was brilliant, I'm just glad they lost.
Just read the article and its a hypothetical squad. FFS![]()
Some people want England to lose at everything no point arguing they wont change their mind.🤣🤣🤣
On to the 3rd Test. Time to get some revenge after today.
Like I said, its their product of course they'll fund it.
What difference does that make? I've watched Glamorgan play, been to watch World Cup games and will watch it if its on. I suppose I'm a casual fan. But cricket isn't overly inclusive so I suppose if you don't play you aren't worthy.
I am a rugby fan too but like I stated earlier I don't really get the Lions thing either.

Hopefully this will see off for good some of the 'tradition' at Lords. Most of the report out this week was total bullsh*t. But their highlighting of the fact that Eton v harrow play yearly at lord's, but the England women don't was spot on. This whole MCC membership system is complete elitist bollocks. Glad Warner and Ussie gave them some stick back. I hope some memberships are lost!
I think you're probably right and the English media would have portrayed Bairstow as a genius.
I will add one thing to the whole debate - there are plenty of Aussies who feel the dismissal wasn't in the spirit of the game, while there are plenty of England supporters who feel it is ok. So far this series there have been rules that have been tested to the limit already; I'm sure there will be more to come.

Leeds goal ok or not?
I've wondered how that would have panned out if City had been involved.
Imagine Swansea scoring a winner in Cardiff from a similar situation. I reckon there would even be a handful of City fans, wrongly of course, on the pitch remonstrating and the atmosphere would turn very, very ugly. I doubt many City fans would be saying we should have "played the whistle".
