2 sets all!
The boy had him where he wanted him, Novak looked dead and buried.
Then he does what he does.
I fancy Djokovic now.
Another twist. 2-1 CA
I thought Alcaraz would melt in this last set, not a chance though, great match this.
Fabulous 👏 👏 👏
ha
Terrific match, fair play to Alcaraz, had my doubts he'd live with Djokovic over that length of match but he did superbly.
Great to see that emotion from him and his team at the end.
Don't think I've ever been happier to see someone lose. Even happier that Alcaraz won.
The King is dead, long live the King.
The fitness of these players is incredible, 5 hours out there this afternoon/evening as well as the rounds to reach the final. Alcaraz can give up his Joe Cordina look a like career now
class words even in defeat

I caught a bit of the men's wheelchair final earlier, one of the commentators was discussing the Japanese player's impressive serve. about 100 mph from a seated position, which is really good apparently.
the other commentator chimes in with "imagine how hard he could hit it if he could stand up" like something out of Alan partridge
The first man not named Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray to win the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Singles since 2002.
