    If just taking one leg into consideration, then Merthyr beating Atalanta or Bangor beating Napoli are up there (in terms of best results).

    No, I don’t think so, it was hardly a vintage Real side and we were as near as damnit a First Division side at the time. Putting out the holders Sporting Lisbon a few years earlier when we were struggling near the bottom of the Second Division was probably a bigger giant killing given what happened in the second leg in Madrid.

    Think the Rangers defeat is the worst one because it was over two legs.
