Gutting to drop points at the end again
Bobby will be along soon to say we bottled it.
2 sides with 2 different aims this season.
Weve had a go against 2 sides who will be challenging for promotion and been done by a side we will be battling with at the bottom for safety.
Lets get the 3 points next week.
That’s 3 points lost in injury time already this season.
Disappointing but some positive signs. Could really do with beating Wednesday next Saturday.
Try telling that to an American. They would be SO confused.
Despite the defeat...I am encouraged...glass 3/4 full.....that performance was not that of a relegation side.
A point from games against two relegated teams in hindsight isn’t too bad. We were lucky against leeds to get the draw but had the chances to not lose today. I think we are improving noticeably. Next week is a must win though
It can depend on who you are playing...the key is to produce that sort of performance against lesser sides. Another thing....Alnwick should keep the position....he has done nothing wrong this season.
Both full backs were good until Romeo's late behaviour...Collins looks like he is getting up to speed.....O'Dowda is much better further upfield....
I think even Leicester fans might concede we deserved a point....
Two more games to watch tonight...four in the day.....which is good considering my weak internet signal here.....back next weekend to fast internet!!
Decent result for us considering what we were expecting.
Let's just hope the pattern of
signs of encouragement away and losing/drawing late on and and following that up by offering nothing at home in a flat game doesn't continue.....
You do wonder what Mr tan is feeling though. Bulut clearly dalman man and a lot of hype from dalman about it all.
Bulut has 1 point from 9. Morison was sacked for having what 13 in 10 games? Bulut not on target to even match that. Will Mr tan be thinking is that it?
Frustrating but I dont think we can have too many complaints- Alnwick kept us in it in the first half, and other than a worldie from Rambo we barely threatened their goal. Still, some encouraging signs. Loved Romeo's quick feet and pass through to Meite, Collins defended well again and Alnwick was outstanding. Our fitness looks way off- Meite blowing out of his 'arris after being on the pitch for 5 minutes just an example. Our forwards still look like they have only just met- there's zero cohesion or fluency there- hopefully that will come. Need a win on Saturday.
1 point out of 9
That's a very poor start
It's fine bigging up the team and slapping backs but we are already struggling
3 or 4 of those players shouldn't be in the side and until our midfield knits together and we create chances for a striker we are going to be looking at the trap door
Its defence im more worried about. I think we need minimum of 1 and ideally 2. Its a squad game and I dont think Simpson is L2 level let alone Championship level.
Thats with concerns about Collins and Goutas.
Romeo couldn't get regular game time in L1 with Pompey.
Thats probably his level.
Its going to be tough but today was encouraging but we need reinforcements or its going to be a struggle to survive.
Long term injuries to Ramsey , Ralls , McGuinness and I think we are down.
Superb support today. Ramsey's goal, just what we wanted. Shame about the ending. A lot of positives as they say.
