That Siopis looks like hell of a player.
Cracking engine and he made more interceptions tonight than I've seen a player make in a game in a long time.
Something suss gone on to get him on a free.
Great result, two home wins on the bounce, hopefully a confident squad going into the next game. Looking up the table rather than down right now.
I wonder if Alnick could have done better with two of them, maybe harsh but it might have been said if Runnerson was in goal. He also made a very good save.
Showed a bit of character tonight as well. The game against the jacks would have taken a fair bit of nervous energy out of the players, most of them would have probably still been wired on the Sunday, with Monday the 'Fallout' day. We were really tired the last 15 minutes or so. Coventry are a decent outfit, moved the ball well and quickly. A bit soft at the back.
Now we're cooking
By no means a must win at this stage of the season but that was so important after the Swansea game. And without Ramsey!
The lads must be buzzing. I can't recall the last time we were 9th.
I worried that the Swansea game had taken a lot out, it showed last 20 mins when we looked knackered.
Anyway great result. Good to be looking up, not down.
3 goals,3 points and playing some good stuff so much better than the dirge of past few seasons
I thought we were good but should be tempered with a really poor Coventry team that looked no where near the level they were last season and we still conceded twice.
Great result, some very well taken goals and a deserved win - things are looking up for once!
Only criticism would be more cheap goals conceded, I’d personally have Panzo in for either of the centre backs for the next few as that is a department which is a bit troubling.
Classic trap game tonight after the adrenaline fueled Saturday night. Fantastic effort, showed a bundle of character
Back to back wins at home, playing with freedom, creating chances and scoring goals.
It a long time since that happened.
Could improve in a few areas but not a lot to fault really.
Bulut deserves huge credit, he is doing a fantastic job with limited resources.
he made 3 according to whoscored.com, fbref have the opta data which will probably be out tomorrow which might be more reliable.
Adams and wintle have both made more interceptions than that this season I think
edit-
actually looks like I was thinking about tackles, 3 might be a high for interceptions this season
Seems a long time since We were on a high.
Feels bloody great.
Well done lads
Goals from 2 new faces and etete who took that like a seasoned pro
The confidence in the team must be sky high
Well done to all of them
Ralls dogged it again tonight , good on him
There is always someone ready to say that any team we just beat was poor or rubbish. It's seems some almost want us to lose just so it fits their miserable outlook,
