I'd much prefer to hear 50 cent over the speakers rather than some anthem from the 70s, or the bastard beach boys.. And I don't even like 50 cent!

I think the Black players in the squad would appreciate a bit of 50 cent.

Even Thin Lizzy at their very worst i.e. Do Anything You Wanna Do, p*ss over anything 50p has ever released. It's rap and it's crap! The last thing I want to hear at the ground is shite rap music. End of. By the way, should the match announcer only play music by artists that are alive then?

I like story’s like this. Does it really matter if you like his music or not?
He’s a global name, and whilst it lasts, I think it’s great for the team, players, coaches and parents.
In a world where the every day news is getting bleaker by the day, this is a ray of light imo.

An under-14's girl team sponsored by, the BBC tells us, the performer of a ditty entitled "In da Club"........

Don't give me any lessons on Northern Soul - I was at the casino when you were at the brandy bridge dancing to whisky in the jar....You remind me of those Red Necks who thought funk was the devil music.

The black fist emanates from the Black Power movement of the 60s. Without that movement we probably wouldn't have seen the prominence and rise of the likes of 50 cent. So basically, we should thank Mr Soul for promoting the future rise of Black rap artists.

Ooooooo...one upmanship...you made it to the casino and I didn't! Therefore your balls must be much bigger than mine LMFAO

One, I've never been to the brandy bridge wherever that is and two, I have never ever danced to Whisky In The Jar, nor am I ever likely to.

Also, it is permissible to like more than one genre of music. For instance you like or liked Northern Soul and now you like (c)rap!

I might listen to mainly Northern Soul these days, but I have no problem with liking some (only some mind you!) classic 70s rock bands, as well as reggae, ska and 2Tone, the blues, doo wop and rockabilly.

That's because 'old' music is the best. Seriously, there isn't much, if anything at all, that I like after about 1989 music wise
