It is an embarrassing watch - completely agree.
I sort of understand what he wanted to say about the conflict, why he didn't want to play the 'condemnation game' (it only goes one way) and why he maybe wanted to explain the background and complexity of Hamas (the social, educational, health and administrative parts of a big organisation that goes way beyond the armed men). But not there, and not with Piers Morgan.
Corbyn's judgement is often poor in situations like that. He is naive and non-confrontational - thinks the power of argument will see him through - and he gets eaten alive! All he managed to do was feed the red tops, energise the right, and confuse and demoralise the Palestine solidarity movement. Not his finest moment.
i thought GB news was basically Newsmax with a stupid british accent

Jeremy Corbyn has described Hamas as a “terrorist group” in a magazine article after repeatedly refusing to use the term in a television interview earlier this week.
The former Labour leader has written an article accusing the Israeli army of being guilty of “acts of terror too”, arguing that the comparison was necessary because Israel had killed thousands of children in strikes on Gaza in retaliation for Hamas’s attacks.
His opinion piece in the leftwing Tribune magazine comes a day after the leader of the opposition, Keir Starmer, said Corbyn’s “days as a Labour MP” were over after the MP had repeatedly declined to call Hamas a terrorist organisation in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Corbyn wrote that he “deplore[d] the targeting of all civilians”, including Hamas’s killing of about 1,200 people in Israel on 7 October.
The MP for Islington North added: “If we understand terrorism to describe the indiscriminate killing of civilians, in breach of international law, then of course Hamas is a terrorist group.
“The targeting of hospitals, refugee camps and so-called safe zones by the Israeli army are acts of terror too; and the killing of more than 11,000 people, half of whom are children, cannot possibly be understood as acts of self-defence.
“We should not entertain questions from those who have no interest in applying this basic consistency.”
Whilst I can't stand PM I hope that Corbyn agreeing to go on that pathetic show is his nemesis
He's a complete idiot for not dealing with that hamas nonsense many years ago
There is a certain amount of playing the game that a lot of the far left confuse as having principles stamped on
For many years terrorists for one side have been argued to be freedom fighters by the other
I think most reasonable people would understand that arguement
It's certainly true that without the disgraceful actions of Israel on occasion since 1948 and the appalling treatment of catholics in Northern Ireland that hamas and the ira either wouldn't exist or wouldn't have been so powerful
The problem with corbyn and others is that they give ammunition , if you would pardon the phrase , to the nutty right wing daily mail types by not using Morgan and others to stamp on the daft idea he's some sort of blood thirsty terrorist sympathiser
His own silly ego means that he spent half an hour on a TV show pissing about playing snakes and ladders
The problem is he can retire to his Islington townhouse but his interview will always be brought up by the foaming mouthed right wing nutters to prove those on the left have always got bombs in their rucksacks and don't like the Jews etc
Which of course isn't true
