Just what I was thinking when I heard of his resignation, but he’ll still be around unfortunately- this is him throwing his hat into the ring to be the candidate for the headbanger wing of the party.Originally posted by Dorcus View PostAn absolute pig of a man. Re: Jenrick resigns as Immigration Minister.
I wonder if all this noise is an attempt to exploit Labour's stance and vote in parliament , where new legislation is about to be sought on asylum seekers and the ability to override the human rights charter on this topic based on it being outdated on the matter of folks in boats and other dubious reasons used to claim asylum in 2023

Re: Jenrick resigns as Immigration Minister.
Now Jenrick has resigned it’ll be an interesting watch to see if he throws Sunak under the bus like Braverman and the watch them both to try and out cuunt each other in attempts to win the support of the dribbling horde of Orcs who are the Tory xenophobic, far right.
His resignation is personal ambition along with a bit of principle? He mentioned that the Rwanda deal doesn’t go far enough, perhaps he wants illegal immigrants jettisoned to the moon? It wouldn’t surprise me! He’s seen Braverman speak at the Commons and thought the time is now to distance himself from a failed government and position himself for the next Tory leader?
Another waanksplatt in it for himself.
