I bought a big bag of salted peanuts from aldi but they are shocking
Can I chuck em out for the sparrows and Robins or should I liquidise them first to stop them choking ?

You should never feed salted nuts of any kind to wild birds as long-term ingestion of salt will kill them.
Wash the salt off first, then put them in a mesh nut-feeder so birds can only peck at them rather than eat them whole.
Put a note on the feeder "May contain nuts".

You will find that the salt in salted peanuts are ingrained and although you can wash the salt on the outside of them off, you cannot get the inside free of salt.
Regarding the squirrel post, yes it is the same with squirrels but takes a bit longer to activate, however never give a squirrel mouldy corn it will be fatal for them even though they are very greedy for corn the same with canned corn because of the salt in it.

As bobh said give them a good wash to get as much salt off as possible.

Please do not feed them salted peanuts, they, (and the majority of other wildlife) will not be able to process that much salt, even if washed
my bird says i have salty nuts, never done her any harm
