The three specialist spinners picked by England take five wickets between them as India pile up a first innings lead of 190 and part timer Joe Root takes four - someone like Robert Croft would have played no end of test matches these days given how bare the spin bowling cupboard is.

Re: India v England test match.
I find it quite depressing that this series has started and yet it appears to be hardly get a mention on tv. I’m assuming it’s on BT Sport.
I must admit I’m enjoying the under 19 World Cup on Sky this week. Scotland are putting up a tremendous effort against South Africa so far this morning. 265-5 off 49 overs. Hope the lad Gould gets his ton in the final over.

Two great games going on this morning. India need 231 to beat England after Ollie Pope,s magnificent 196 and the West Indies need two more Australian wickets to pull off an incredible win. The Aussies need 31 to win themselves and, maybe decisively, Steve bloody Smith is still in.

I'd love the Windies to win but can see Steve Smith hitting the winning runs and reaching 100 at the same time.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostTwo great games going on this morning.
