Some thins never change, Swansea score two headers (one from a corner) and we score the “footballing” goals. Thought Ashford looked bright even without his goal, which was neatly taken and showed a good turn of pace, in those highlights and that was a lovely, clean strike by Sawyers.
Nice strike, yes, and it was nice of the Swansea players to get out the way so Sawyers had a clear shot at goal. Not much point in doing the swim away, like their guy did after the first goal, if you're all going to do the run away when you think the ball might hit you.
Quick update on the FA Youth Cup for no particular reason, I probably should get out more.
Charlie Crew's Leeds beat Liverpool to make the semi-finals where they will play Millwall, who somehow beat Chelsea. In the other semi, Man City will play Bristol City.
Both Bristol City and Millwall are in our league at that level, we've done the double over Bristol and beaten Millwall in our only game with them this season so it's a bit frustrating we didn't go further ourselves.
Another Cardiff youngster -
Timeo Whisker - to sign for a Premier League side.

There are very reasonable complaints to make of our inability to bring through young players, but that's what 4 in the past year or so that have been poached? They'll obviously be the better players in the age group so hardly a surprise that we don't see youngsters bursting through
Ashford starting in todays 2 o clock under 21 game at Leckwith against Bournemouth, so someone is replacing him on the bench tomorrow. Ramsey?
Theres the usual live stream on You Tube.
Bournemouth take the lead - it had been coming.
0-2.
Just watching Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 2-0 at half time. Fagan-Walcott doing ok....he's quite a big lad....commentators say he's been excellent.
One good result today - u18s won 5-0 at Charlton.
Having lost 1-0 at home to them last week. What's that about?
I'm not sure if the Wales under-21's squad has been mentioned anywhere but Ashford, Joel Colwill, Tom Davies and Eli King are in there (plus Charlie Crew). King has a groin injury though, he's missed the last two Ross County games.
Well, exactly. Our lot were probably sulking last week because the coach stopped them from playing Sonic the Hedgehog or from riding their BMXs around the car park or something. What can you do with them?
No sign of Crole, no. Xaviar Benjamin wasn't in the Dunfermline squad either, nor Ryan Kavanagh in the Truro squad (although that poor guy not being injured would be news).
I like Truro. The guy who reports on their games calls them stanzas instead of halves which is very endearing and something I'm thinking of doing myself. They won 2-1 at highly-placed St Albans yesterday to pull themselves away from the relegation zone. Over 2,000 there but the few Truro fans who made the 540 mile round trip (in a regionalised league) made themselves heard.
Two videos in this set of four. If this doesn't humble you as a player then you must have a heart of stone.

Another who seems conspicuous by his absence (if you can be conspicuous playing for the U21s) is Caleb Hughes. Doesn't seem to be on loan so a long term injury?
