The rules are the rules and they are a joke but you can't blame the kid going to Man City after seeing their setup.

What we need to do is provide a better offering. The only offering we can do is play these kids in first team football. Play them or take the Ł250k (which may be a lot more than if they never make it)
We're never going to consistently be able to keep players from going to PL clubs unless we become an established PL team
