Very pleased about this. We would have lost our training ground and our Academy.
Hopeful that Sports.com are buying the club to include Bearwood.

Yongge has been dreadful Sludge. Truly doesn't give a crap. He has owned three clubs. Two no longer exist and we are fighting to stay alive.

Seriously, what was in it for Yongge? He must have lost a shedload? Unless it is because he's lost a shedload and realises he won't get anything back?

Overspent badly initially and then ran into his own financial difficulties. His businesses are primarily retail space (shopping malls and markets) which have taken a hammering in the Chinese market.

He's lost tens of millions. He relied entirely on football agent Kia Joorabchian to bring in players at exorbitant transfer fees. They were then placed on long term deals with big wages. There was no structure in place and no football men in place. We were paying huge amounts in agents fees to Kia too.

It's a heady mix of largesse, poor decision making and misfortune (including I believe getting conned quite badly at his Belgian acquisition) that lends itself to that great question "How do you make a small fortune from a football club?".
