Thread: Legalise cannabis.

    Legalise cannabis.

For reasons I won't bore with it's been a pretty sh1tty couple of weeks.

I gave up ciggies in 1981 and stopped smoking wacky backy in the mid 80's and not touched anything since.

Sat at home tonight I really felt like a smoke.

With all the crap going on in the world why not let people have a legal smoke at home?

I'm sure those in the know can get it regardless.

30 years ago, I would have agreed with you, but it’s not the same drug these days. Too much THC and not enough CBD = psychosis

    Definitely decriminalise it

Then should people wish to smoke weed they can make an informed decision and grow it at home

By doing this they can choose which type of weed to grow .....clearly sensibly avoiding the super skunk brands

And by legally growing their own weed they don't get a criminal record and they don't have to put themselves in contact with the criminal gangs commercially growing the stuff with the associated hassle that brings

It's a very simple solution but we live in a stupid country

Germany the latest country to legalise cannabis (for over 18s; up to 25g for personal use).

    https://www.irishtimes.com/world/eur...-final-hurdle/

The list is growing - but the UK won't be anywhere it with our current choice of government parties.

I would legalise it tomorrow. It's not without it's risks, there are mental health implications but I think they probably help as many as they harm and those who do have issues likely would anyway.

The govt should invite 3-4 local authorities to bid for temporary licences to operate 2-3 Dutch style cafes and they can be monitored with a view to it being legalised and licenced

That’s something legalisation can address. Buying from “official” vendors would guarantee some level of control and regulation in how it’s produced.

It's certainly far safer than alcohol

St Mary Street on a Saturday night ......plenty of arrests for drink related offences

Put 20 stoners outside a cafe on the hayes and the only crime will be spending too much money on dodgy burgers and kebabs from Caroline Street once the munchies kick in

Watching TV when you were completely cabbaged was very intense
