Loved the interview, you can see how genuinely buzzing he is, don’t think I’ve ever seen a footballer so excited in an interview. That’s what footballs about.

Looks about 12
Seems a lovely lad.

Level headed young man...so excited....great to see...
That is genuinely brilliant. Better than brilliant ...
Fabulous. Great performance by the lad too.
Is the goal confirmed as his?
Try and watch that video without smiling to yourself.
Spoiler- it's impossible
Absolutely wonderful 👏
Stoked for the lad. That's what the game is all about.
amazing, what dreams are made of
So pleased for him. We've all had that dream. Today his dream came true. I can't imagine how he feels. I wonder if he'll sleep tonight.
Found myself filling up watching that, my missus said ‘What a lovely boy’ as well. The future may be bright after all.
My first memory of Cian was of him scoring a fine winning goal for City’s under 18 side against QPR, I think he was 13 at the time and since then, I’ve always kept a look out for him.
However, after injury disrupted most of his 22/33 season, I thought this time around was almost make or break for him. Right from the start when he scored four while representing the under 21s in his native Rhondda, Ashford has ensured it has been a make season for him, but yesterday was dreamland territory - Turnbull didn’t do a great deal yesterday, but having three heads up players in our three behind the striker makes such a difference. It’s so good as well that playing for the club clearly means so much to two of them.and I hope another City fan in Isaak Davies isn’t farmed out on loan somewhere next season - Bulut confirmed yesterday that Ashford will not be loaned out next season if he is still manager.
Great stuff
Going to those young kids , absolutely fantastic for him
He took the time to let a lot of our younger fans get selfies with him while refusing to give up his shirt as he was keeping it. It would be good for the club to get something on their "socials" if it's getting framed for his bedroom or if he's just giving to his Mam.
